Erica’s practice focuses on estate and tax planning, including wills, trusts, estate administration and domestic agreements.
Erica provides advice to business owners concerning succession and estate planning. She often works with tax advisors to design wealth management plans specific to client’s needs, goals and circumstances.
Erica has represented trustees and beneficiaries of both trusts and estates in the resolution of disputes. Erica also provides advice to families on issues of guardianship and powers of attorney. She has worked in the tax departments of two national accounting firms during which time she completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) In-Depth Tax Course and authored various articles and papers on tax related issues.
Erica is a past instructor in the Business Law and Estate Planning and Administration Sections of the Ontario Bar Admission Course. Erica is a past director of The Vaughan Chamber of Commerce and she regularly conducts wills and estate planning seminars in conjunction with other professionals.
